Returns & Refunds Policy

Moonta Homebrew Supplies

All refund and return rights under both State and Commonwealth law apply.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Consumer Guarantees

You are entitled to:

  • A replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage; or

  • To have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

For minor failures, Moonta Homebrew Supplies may choose to repair the item, replace it, or provide a refund in accordance with the ACL.

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Returns We Will Accept

Moonta Homebrew Supplies will accept returns and provide a refund (using the original payment method), replacement, repair, or store credit where required by law, if:

  • The item is faulty or not of acceptable quality; or

  • The item is not fit for its intended purpose; or

  • The product does not match the sample or description; and

  • You can provide a valid receipt or other acceptable proof of purchase.

Returned items may be assessed or referred to a manufacturer’s repair agent to determine the nature of the fault.

We reserve the right to refuse a return, repair, replacement, or refund where the fault is caused by misuse, neglect, or abnormal use, to the extent permitted by law.

Change of Mind

Moonta Homebrew Supplies is not required to provide a refund for change-of-mind purchases.
At our discretion, a Store Credit Voucher may be offered for eligible change-of-mind returns.

Gift Cards & Gift Vouchers

Physical gift cards and online gift vouchers:

  • Are non-refundable

  • Cannot be exchanged for cash or another denomination

  • Will not be replaced if lost or stolen

  • Are not redeemable for cash

Proof of Purchase

Returns, refunds, exchanges, or repairs must be accompanied by one of the following:

  • Original register receipt (or clear photo)

  • Online tax invoice

  • Bank or credit card statement (additional proof may be required)

  • Buy-now-pay-later or payment provider statements (Afterpay, Zip, Flypay, PayPal)

Refund Method

Refunds will be issued using the original payment method wherever possible.
If the original payment method cannot be verified, proof of identity may be required.

Identification & Privacy

When processing a return, we may request information necessary to meet legislative or fraud-prevention requirements.
Any personal information collected will be handled in accordance with the Moonta Homebrew Supplies Privacy Policy.
